    Acadia National Park has an enchanting coastal ambiance! If you enjoy a coastal setting, this park is the one for you. Situated just outside of Bar Harbor, ME, it's an excellent choice for your first park visit. Acadia is a relatively compact park, making it easy to explore. It's an ideal destination for a fall trip, offering breathtaking views of the rugged coastline, vibrant autumn foliage, and majestic mountains.

  • Arches National Park

    Arches National Park gave me the sensation of being transported to another world! This desert paradise features stunning sandstone arches, towering rock fins, pinnacles reaching the sky, and massive balancing rocks. Among the park's iconic landmarks, Delicate Arch stands out as a symbol of Utah. Situated in Moab, UT, this charming desert town offers delightful dining options and unique shops.

  • Bryce Canyon National Park

    Bryce Canyon left me speechless! If you are seeking to witness stunning vibrant orange hoodoos that appear to stretch across the entire landscape, this park is a must-visit. With a variety of hikes ranging from easy to challenging, as well as horse and mule rides through the hoodoos, there is something for everyone. Moreover, Bryce is recognized as an International Dark Sky Park, offering an exceptional opportunity for stargazing.

  • Canyonlands National Park

    Canyonlands National Park is truly breathtaking! Renowned for its expansive canyons, mesas, and buttes sculpted by the Colorado River. This diverse and rugged park offers short hikes, picturesque drives, and exciting river expeditions. The park is known as a dark sky park providing excellent opportunity for stargazing.

  • Glacier National Park

    Glacier National Park is a true marvel of nature! With magnificent glaciers, colorful rocks in the lakes, diverse wildlife, and awe-inspiring waterfalls flowing into turquoise waters, the park is a visual delight. Our favorite part was the activities available; we enjoyed horseback riding and white water rafting during our visit.

  • Grand Canyon National Park

    Grand Canyon is exactly as the name states GRAND! Once you see it you realize why it is considered one of the most iconic natural wonders of the world. I was in awe of the layers of colorful rock and vastness of the Canyon. There are so many fun activities to explore in and around the park...we did a helicopter ride to the bottom of the Canyon that was spectacular and we also went to sky walk over the Canyon which is a horseshoe shaped glass cantilever over the Canyon.

  • Grand Teton National Park

    Grand Teton holds a special place in my heart! While it's tough to pick favorites among all the parks, this one stands out. Situated near Jackson Hole, the Teton range is renowned for its breathtaking views, particularly the iconic reflection of the Teton Range in Jackson Lake. Additionally, the park offers a wide range of outdoor activities. Our highlights included thrilling whitewater rafting and a scenic horseback ride, taking us 2,000 feet up to admire the majestic mountain range.

  • Mammoth Cave National Park

    Mammoth Cave is an exceptional park! It boasts the world's longest known cave system, with over 400 miles of explored passageways. Visitors can choose from a range of tours, including day and night options. One of the most popular tours is the Frozen Niagara tour, naturally adorned in winter. Additionally, there are enjoyable hikes around the Cave that we particularly liked.

  • Mount Rainier National Park

    When I think of this park, the word "magical" instantly springs to mind! It is where you can find the iconic Mount Rainier, an active stratovolcano and the tallest peak in the Cascade Range. This park is renowned for its breathtaking hikes, diverse wildlife, and vibrant wildflowers! The park's weather can be unpredictable, and although we anticipated seeing wildflowers during our visit, a snowstorm surprised us right before we arrived. However, I found the snowy landscape enchanting and was not disappointed at all.

  • Olympic National Park

    Olympic Park stands out as the most diverse park I've explored! It boasts mountains, coastline, and rainforests all within its boundaries. My favorite spots were Second Beach, where I marveled at starfish in tide pools, and the enchanting HOH rainforest that felt straight out of a storybook. If you seek a park with a wide range of landscapes, this is the perfect destination for you.

  • Rocky Mountain National Park

    Rocky Mountain National Park left me in awe! This park is cherished for its natural beauty and rich wildlife diversity. During our visit, we encountered various animals, including a moose, fulfilling my long-standing desire to see one up close. Elk, bunnies, and chipmunks were also a common sight. Notably, the park boasts one of the highest paved roads in North America, Trail Ridge Road, offering breathtaking views without guardrails, creating a nostalgic feel. The road reaches its peak at 12,183 feet at the Alpine Visitor Center. Moreover, the park is renowned for its extensive network of hiking trails, boasting around 355 different trails to explore.

  • Yellowstone National Park

    Yellowstone was absolutely majestic! My daughter and I consider it our top National Park adventure, from the charming stay in beautiful Jackson Hole to witnessing the array of wildlife in Yellowstone, and the breathtaking Grand Tetons that captured our hearts. As America's inaugural National Park, it's a paradise for nature enthusiasts. Renowned for its geothermal wonders such as geysers and hot springs, especially the iconic Old Faithful. If you seek hiking, waterfalls, hot springs, and wildlife experiences, this park is perfect for you.

  • Yosemite National Park

    Yosemite marked our first National Park adventure! It boasts renowned natural wonders like El Capitan, Half Dome, and Yosemite Falls. If you crave breathtaking waterfalls, majestic mountains, and colossal sequoia trees, this park is a must-visit. Some of these ancient trees have stood for over 3,000 years! I recall gazing up at them, feeling like they touched the sky.

  • Zion National Park

    Zion was truly enchanting, especially the drive into the park! Renowned for its striking red rock cliffs, narrow slot canyons, and varied wildlife, Zion is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Offering a plethora of hiking trails, picturesque drives, and rock climbing opportunities, it caters to every outdoor lover's dream. Additionally, visitors can enjoy various water activities such as kayaking, tubing, and swimming.
